Misery (Preview)

By William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King

Directed by Joseph Hanreddy

When successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon awakes in a secluded home, rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan” Annie Wilkes, fiction quickly becomes stark reality. While he semi-consciously convalesces under her “care,” Annie secretly reads the unpublished manuscript of his new novel Misery and becomes enraged upon discovering that he has killed off her favorite character. When Annie demands that he rewrite his novel, Paul quickly realizes that the only way to avoid his own personal unhappy ending is to outwit the sociopathic bibliophile that seems bound and determined to keep him permanently bedridden.

Age Recommendation: Mature audiences only due to violence, language and dark subject matter.

Pride and Prejudice (Preview)

Adapted by Joseph Hanreddy, J.R. Sullivan from the novel by Jane Austen

Directed by Joseph Hanreddy

Marriage is an inevitable fact of life for the five Bennet sisters, with the family estate entailed away to their closest male cousin, their only hope to advance in life is to find a rich and single man -- and one has just arrived in the form of the very handsome and very well-off Charles Bingley. The kindhearted and beautiful Jane seems poised to make a match, but must contend with her overly zealous mother, his snobbish sister, and a slippery social ladder. And when Bingley's taciturn friend Fitzwilliam Darcy shows an interest in the opinionated and spirited Elizabeth, the situation becomes more complicated than either of them expect. The fire and wit of Jane Austen's classic 1813 romance shines through in this vibrant adaptation.
